To maintain the surface integrity of your Even R1 smart ring and prevent it from scratching or being scratched by other items, please observe the following precautions during daily use.
During activities that may involve intense friction or impact—such as strength training, operating heavy tools like shovels or hammers, or handling hard materials like metal, ceramic, or stone—it is recommended to remove the ring to avoid scratches or damage caused by collision.
Please note that scratches or other damage resulting from normal wear and tear are not covered under Even's warranty policy. To help prevent scratches and extend the life of your ring:
- Avoid Wearing with Other Jewelry: Do not wear the Even R1 in direct contact with jewelry made of materials such as metal, ceramic, stone, or diamonds.
- Handle with Care: Similarly, avoid intentional or unintentional scraping of the ring against surfaces made of such materials.
- Wear on Your Non-Dominant Hand: When performing certain tasks, it is advisable to wear the Even R1 on your non-dominant hand to reduce its contact with various surfaces and objects encountered daily.
- Risk of Mutual Scratching: Please also be aware that the ring itself may scratch softer materials it comes into frequent contact with, such as precious metal jewelry (e.g., gold, silver), aluminum phone cases, or some ceramic phone cases with soft coatings.
